Adding Shopify Markets
#
Introduction
Shopify Markets allow you to sell to international customers in different currencies and group specific countries and regions together.
- Retail Cloud Connect can serve multiple markets and currencies
- Each Currency requires a separate Google Cloud project
- You must have an appropriate billing subscription to enable multiple markets
To add another market or currency to Retail Cloud Connect, navigate to the Google Cloud tab within the app, then click Add Market:
Edit or confirm the suggested Google Cloud project name, then follow the remaining steps to connect to Google Cloud.
Deleting Markets
Deleting markets or projects on live stores can cause undesired effects. Please contact us to delete markets.

Context & Themes
Each market requires unique App Blocks to correctly serve search and recommendations. Navigate to the appropriate market in the Theme Editor, then copy and paste the corresponding Google Cloud Catalog Project IDs from the Theme Installation tab.

Google Cloud Projects
How many Google Cloud projects do I need?
Each Google Cloud project supports one currency. An additional Google Cloud project is required for each currency.

Management Tip
You can group Google Cloud projects into a folder, then grant your Service Account permission to the folder to simplify connectivity.
