Checkout Recommendations

The optional Recommendations AI checkout extension displays personalized product suggestions during Shopify checkout and lets shoppers add an available product without leaving checkout.

Add the Block

1. In Shopify admin, open Settings > Checkout.
2. Select the checkout profile and click Customize.
3. Add the Recommendations AI App Block to a supported checkout section.
4. Enter the required Serving Configuration ID, then adjust the optional heading, number of items, and button text.
5. Save the checkout profile.

The defaults are Recommended for you, two items, and an Add button. The block can show one or two items.

Keep the Core Components App Embed enabled so the same anonymous visitor ID can personalize storefront and checkout recommendations. When checkout has no eligible recommendations, the block stays hidden.
